Karuizawa Hotel Longing House impressed us with its charming European-style rooms, complete with cozy air conditioning and modern amenities like a flat-screen TV and refrigerator. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the dining experience; the restaurant offered a delightful array of continental dishes that prominently featured fresh local vegetables. We particularly enjoyed unwinding with drinks by the fireplace in the bar lounge, surrounded by tastefully decorated antiques. The tranquil garden provided a serene backdrop for our strolls, allowing us to take in the picturesque winter snow. Conveniently located just a 5-minute drive from the JR Karuizawa Train Station, the hotel is an ideal base for exploring the area while being just a stone's throw from both shopping and local attractions.
